WHY WE ARE BETTER

THE BEST FERTILIZERS

We use Scotts Green Max and Milorganite fertilizers - the best products on the planet. Completely pet friendly. No cheap products disguised with words like 'premium' or 'proprietary'. 

THE BEST WEED CONTROL

As a private service, we LEGALLY offer the U.S. (Ortho) version of Weed-B-Gon to clients in the GTA. Certain conditions apply. It controls more than 250 types of weed. Exponentially better than Fiesta.

THE BEST INSECT CONTROL

Again, as a private service, we have Triazicide. It can kill more than 250 types of insects including ticks, ants, chinch bugs, grubs and the boxwood moth. Effective for up to three months. Certain conditions also apply.

NO FIESTA

Fiesta is arguably the worst product for weed control. Both Fiesta and Ortho have the same recommended limitations (maximum two applications per year). This means similar toxicity levels regardless of an organic or chemical base. Fiesta requires frequent applications to control dandelions only. Ortho requires just one spray to control practically all weeds. So when your provider sprays Fiesta three or more times in one season, is it really safer? 

CHOICE

Your choice to either use these U.S. products or else remain pesticide free. Millions of people across the U.S. use them under Federal approval. Millions more choose to remain pesticide free. With our service, the choice remains yours.

CONTINUOUS SEEDING

Four applications of Scotts brand grass seed included with your basic service. Continuous repair and regeneration for common problems. For example, if a grub problem can be corrected by seeding alone, then why pay extra for grub control?

NO GIMMICKS

Gimmicks add a 'perceived value'. For example, extra fertilizer and weed sprays, soil analysis, insect monitoring and liquid aeration to name a few. Seriously, how many Fiesta sprays does it take to realize that it cannot control clover? Likewise, water provides enough oxygen to sustain life in our oceans. Do you suppose it can do the same for your soil? Do you also need a summer student identifying grubs in your lawn just to make a sale?

FEWER VISITS

By using superior products, our service can achieve better results with fewer visits. Let others sell their eight and nine visit programs. Our lawns are often the best on the street.

BETTER SCHEDULING

Our visits are typically done 9am to 6pm with temperatures between 5-26 Celsius and no heavy rain. You won't see us at 8am on a Saturday, in excessive heat or a downpour. MOST IMPORTANTLY, if nobody is home at the time, we shoot a small video as proof of the application being done. "Ghosting" is a problem common to many mainstream providers, not to us.

PRIVATE AND CANADIAN

Canadian owned. No contracts to sign. No shareholder pockets to fill. No poorly worded guarantees such as a credit towards future services or the requirement to purchase extra applications. Just a promise to provide the best possible service we can.

Our Story

Lawn Care By Ronnie is a private (non-registered, non-retail) service created to work with Canadian Federal and Provincial pesticide laws. As a private service, Icbr is permitted to offer the top U.S. products for weed and insect control to residents of the Greater Toronto Area. Our goal is to provide better performance to our clients, not shareholders.

Our Services

We offer fertilizer, seeding, top dressing, weed and insect control. Our service is simple, uses better products and achieves better results with fewer visits.

Our Team

Ronnie was a top technician with the largest provider in North America. He won the company-wide award for "Best Customer Retention". It didn't stop there. He realized that the programs were geared more towards making money than providing a worthy service. After much research, he conceived and developed a program which works much better with the current pesticide laws and gives exponentially better results. The proof can be seen in his lawns.
